About Us

Jimmy and Ruth Mangrum founded their ministry in 1967. They were called out to help fulfill the Great Commission (according to Matthew 28:19 and Luke 16:15).  They started from Tunica, MS, Ruth’s home county.  

                                           

Since then, for over 40 years now, Brother and Sister Mangrum have endeavored to be faithful to the Lord’s calling, trusting Him as their source.  They have always given God’s people an opportunity to be a personal and integral part of their ministry through supporting prayerfully and financially, having direct communication, and in other ways.  The work in the ministry of the Mangrums became known as, Miracles of Faith Ministries.  It has been varied from the start; encompassing spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial involvement; and always “on call” for the Lord.

Today Miracles of Faith Ministries is a 501-c-3 organization that is founded on the scriptural doctrine of the Holy Bible that was taught by the Apostles themselves in the New Testament.  MFM is operated by Board Members who love Jesus, and are experienced missionaries, a pastor, and Christian workers that are working with a “hands on” approach.  MFM also coordinates, and assists, other ministries in different parts of the world to reinforce their efforts and make them more effective. 
    With the help of many people, they have established a Mission Base to accommodate their ministry and help other traveling ministries.  It is complete with a mission cottage, RV parking space, mechanic shop, and more.

MFM outreach is usually done through working with people of like faith.  However, there are many phases of the ministry that reaches out to people regardless of their religious position.  For example, if people are victims of  a natural disaster (flood, drought, storm), or war, or their house burned, MFM helps them according to opportunity, the leading of the Lord, and ability to do so. 

        

    Their outreach has included preaching, teaching, mentoring, training, praying for people, church planting, hands on labor, counseling; and even baby dedications, funerals, and weddings.  They have helped with the provision of financial assistance, material goods, food, equipment, Bibles, and Gospel tracts for missions and victims of tragedy.  

                                                                       

    It’s been among the young and old, rich and poor, educated and illiterate, professionals and common laborers, friends and those not so friendly, in churches and church conferences, revivals, youth retreats, area wide crusades, tent meetings, prayer meetings, and missionary rallies.  At other times it’s been on the streets, in homes, jails and prisons, schools, nursing homes, radio and TV programs; also, wherever there is as many as one soul that is willing to hear about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It’s been among many nationalities of people, both here in America and in several foreign countries.

We believe, because of the Holy Scriptures, there is one God, creator of all that is.  All mankind is born in sin, therefore needing a savior.  Jesus Christ came into the world, being born of a virgin, sinless, to become that savior; himself being the supreme sacrifice for sin.  The blood he willingly shed on the cross is the final and only payment for sin.  

  

    All who repent, and by faith accept the shed blood of Jesus as payment for their sins, should then be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Ghost. 

                                                 

 This will put them in right standing with God and enable them to live a life pleasing to God according to His Word.  This person, born again in Christ, should seek to win others to the Lord as long as they live on the earth.  When they die, they will be with Jesus throughout eternity.  All others will go to a literal burning hell with the devil and be tormented forever, away from the presence of God.

                                                                                                          

   No certain people, race, denomination, organization, or group has a priority with God.  He is equally available to all who come to him in a scriptural manner.

                                                   

Our vision is to do all we can to evangelize the world, networking with God’s sincere people when possible, to greater affect the world for Jesus.  We purpose to use our 40 years of experience, knowledge, and (hopefully) acquired wisdom, to facilitate more work in the Kingdom of the Lord.  We live and headquarter the ministry at the Miracles of Faith Mission Base in Central Mississippi.  We maintain the Mission Base here not only for our use, but also to help other genuine ministers who are on the road traveling for the Lord. 

The purpose for our ministry has always been, and will continue to be, to see as many souls come to God as possible.  We may do it by personally going ourselves or by helping others to go into all the world with the wonderful Gospel of Jesus Christ. God bless you.
